Your LIFX bulb automatically changes color based on your Teams status and Outlook calendar so your family knows when you're in a meeting.
1 Get a LIFX Bulb
You'll need any color-capable LIFX smart bulb. No hub required — they connect directly to your WiFi.
Standard smart bulb that screws into any regular lamp. This is what most of us use.
Other LIFX products that work
Any LIFX product with color support works — bulbs, light strips, candles, beam, or outdoor lights. If it shows up in the LIFX app and can change colors, you're good.
2 Set Up Your Bulb & LIFX Account
Once you have your bulb, get it connected:
- Download the LIFX app (iOS / Android)
- Create a LIFX account and add your bulb to your WiFi network using the app
- Go to cloud.lifx.com/settings and sign in
- Click "Generate New Token", name it Meeting Light
- Copy and save your token somewhere safe — you'll only see it once!
3 Sign In & Connect
Once your bulb is set up and you have your LIFX token ready, sign in with your Engage fi Microsoft account to connect everything.
Sign in with MicrosoftAfter signing in, you'll paste your LIFX token and pick which bulb to use. Your light will start updating automatically.
